AI workshops for small businesses
Newham Council and London Design and Engineering UTC are running a series of Newham Sparks workshops for the borough’s businesses. The first of these workshops will be held on 30 January at East Ham Town Hall. Here, you can learn about how data can help you improve your business. Why not join the workshops as a New Year initiative? This is for all types of businesses, whether you are a high street shop big or small, sole trader or any other business in Newham. You do not need to have any existing awareness of data or AI technology in order to join, it is designed for beginners. Learning series: Unblocking the power of data and AI for your business
Students from London Design and Engineering University will teach local businesses tips and tricks for using data and AI to introduce efficiencies into your business.
This will be a 6 part series, held on a Tuesday evening in Newham Sparks East Ham Town Hall Data Campus on the following dates:

- Tuesday 6 Feb [6pm – 7.30pm]: AI in business: streamlining low level administrative tasks
- Tuesday 20 Feb [6pm – 7.30pm]: Practical AI applications: enhancing your business operations
- Tuesday 27 Feb [6pm – 7.30pm]: 3D scanning: capturing memories and small business marketing
- Tuesday 5 March [6pm – 7.30pm]: Small business marketing with 3D scans: engage and impress
- Tuesday 12 March [6pm – 7.30pm]: Capturing memories in 3D: personal projects and beyond
