THE CORE THEMES FOR EXPLORATION AT THIS YEAR’S CONFERENCE INCLUDE:
Newham Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the launch of the second Annual Business Conference, taking place on the 25th May 2023 at the University of East London – University Square Stratford (USS) Campus.
Building on the success of the inaugural event last year, and following feedback from all attendees, guest speakers and panelists, the Conference this year will be held in partnership with the London Borough of Newham.
• Resilience – We have experienced challenging times on the back of the pandemic. How has the cost-of-living crisis, rising utility prices and economic uncertainty forced businesses to adapt and survive and what has kept businesses going in these turbulent times?
• Growth – To get where we are today, we’ve all had to work harder in our businesses and now, how can we help grow our businesses through diversifying product and service offerings, fostering new partnerships and collaborations, investing in employee development and identifying opportunities for growth through effective tendering and procurement of new business?
• Innovation – To ensure truly sustainable enterprise growth, business leaders need to look beyond day-to-day operations and start scanning new horizons. How do we access new markets, develop a culture of innovation, embrace digital transformation and horizon scan for new opportunities and ways of working?
The conference will include panels focusing on the above subjects and include Guest Speaker presentations throughout the event. There will be a range of exhibitors and numerous opportunities for networking and sharing ideas.
