Evening Social Networking: Celebrating & Collaborating in Newham’s Royal Docks, 19th June 2025 5.30pm – 11.00pm sponsored and hosted by Tereza-Joanne, with a special welcome from James Asser MP Member of Parliament for West Ham & Beckton.

With just 48 hours before the longest day of the year, we’re super excited to be hosting Newham Chamber of Commerce’s Evening Summer Solstice Social in Newham’s biggest and probably most iconic opportunity area, The Royal Docks and on the very cool Tereza Joanne, moored proudly in the historic King George V Dock.

The Tereza Joanne is the longest established floating venue in the Royal Docks- a landmark of hospitality and unforgettable experiences for nearly three decades. With panoramic views of the city skyline and a rich legacy of celebration, a visit aboard is truly unforgettable. Sunset is at 9:20pm that evening so expect some spectacular views across the water and bring cameras for that special social media moment!

While the Royal Docks continue to undergo their dramatic transformation, the Tereza Joanne has thrived through sheer dedication, passion and resilience.

We’ll hear from our hosts how as a family run business, they deliver a unique, personal touch that makes every event from weddings to corporate functions-truly memorable and we’ll be sampling some of their warm hospitality, delicious cuisine and vibrant entertainment with a fabulous Barbeque and a behind-the-scenes tour of the boat!

Our very special guest, local Member of Parliament, James Asser MP, will outline the genuine business opportunities available in this exciting part of Newham – and indeed for London – and you’ll be welcomed aboard yet another exciting Newham hospitality destination… one where history, charm and celebration meet on the water.
