NCC Women in Business Network: Business Breakfast Meeting sponsored and hosted by Barclays Bank on 15th September 2025

Female founders and women in leadership positions all-too-often find accessing finance a huge challenge.

According to a recent report from the British Business Bank, despite a near-equal male/female application rate, less than 9% of certain funds were successfully drawn down by women and Governments old and new have agreed that changing this statistic will make a significant difference to local, regional and the national economy as well as empowering women in business and further championing inclusion.

The NCC Women in Business network is currently driven by female Chamber members and is open to all particularly those with an interest in boosting local female-led business start-up, survival and of course, growth so please join us at Barclays Bank in Stratford and hear from finance, lending and entrepreneurship experts in their field with first-hand knowledge and experience in understanding why and how some or all of these barriers might be overcome!

Building on the “inclusion” agenda, Barclays ensures Mondays in branch are more inviting for neuro-diverse customers so expect some very unique networking – The Quiet Hour – and another “first” for your Chamber of Commerce!
