Newham is East London’s most exciting and evolving boroughs and is a true sum-of-its-parts reflected by its diverse communities, its developing cultural offer and of course its magnificent retail.

This month, we’re really pleased to host our Business Breakfast at one of Newham’s homes of eclectic and innovative retail community hot-spots, Stratford Market Village located in Stratford Shopping, Stratford’s original shopping centre which sees well over 350,000 shopping visitors a week !

With a fabulous international breakfast provided by Karen Scott & her team at the rather tasty GT Spice Caribbean Kitchen based in the Market Village, we’ll hear how building and sustaining local business hubs make such a difference to local communities and of course to Newham as a whole.

To kick-start the proceedings, we’re really pleased to welcome Uma Kumaran MP, the first ever Member of Parliament for the new constituency of Stratford & Bow, the first British MP of Tamil heritage, a climate care advocate and already an active member for UK Government’s Foreign Affairs Select Committee.
