Lifesaving Living at Dockside: Holiday Inn Express London – ExCel & Atlantic Pacific International Business Breakfast

Join us for a joint breakfast hosted by Holiday Inn Express London – ExCeL and Atlantic Pacific International Rescue.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast courtesy of Holiday Inn Express ExCeLwhilst networking with fellow NCC members. Breakfast is followed by a brief introduction to the hotel, its facilities and services. Atlantic Pacific will then introduce its vision for Newham and the Royal Docks, how you can get involved, and what benefits our training can bring your business. There will be a short session to Effective CPR and you can also enjoy a ride on our Rescue Training Boat (RhIB) (Please book onto over breakfast). 

Holiday Inn Express London – ExCeL hotel is just a stone’s throw away from the iconic ExCeL centre, within walking distance to London City Airport and extremely close to the Docklands Light Railway – Royal Albert station.

Atlantic Pacific International Rescue is a UK registered charity who has a mission to combat global drowning. Having recently opened their new building in Royal Docks, AP offers local businesses First Aid at Work, RYA Powerboat 2 and Team Building Away Days from their new headquarters at 1008 Dockside Road. 

Atlantic Pacific also works with local schools and youth groups to encourage careers in the emergency sector. AP provides careers talks in schools as well as opportunities for young people to come and train on Introduction to Medicine courses and an Introduction to Search and Rescue. AP has several scholarship opportunities for young people who are studying or living in Newham on two of our summer courses (Introduction to Medicine and Junior Camp) in our second training facility in South Wales.

  • FREE for Newham Chamber of Commerce Members (one person per organisation gets a free place, an additional ticket is £10 plus booking fee, maximum two people only per organisation)
  • £10 + booking fee for all Non-Members (maximum two people only per organisation)
  • Tickets are limited to 30 pre-booked only

  • 07:30am – 08.45am Arrival, breakfast and networking (HI Restaurant)
  • 09:00am – 09:15am Presentation by Holiday Inn General Manager (Meeting Room)
  • 09:15am – 09:45am Presentation by AP and Effective CPR session
  • 09:45am – 10:45am Tours of Holiday Inn room / facilities
  • 09:45am – 10:45am Boat Tours of the docks with AP (please book on during breakfast)
