DRAFT PLANS FOR A NEW TOWN IN NEWHAM

You are being given the opportunity to be involved with shaping a planned new development at Gallions Reach. It is so huge that the scheme has been described as  a new “town” with its own high street. Interesting environment features are also included. Newham’s Strategic Regeneration Partnership Manager Eleri Thomas tells us all about it and seeks your views.

PARTNERSHIP FOR GROWTH

Newham does not have anyone specifically seeking international trade to help with its regeneration of the borough. Shariar Hossain of Catalyst  believes the Chamber could take a leading role in bringing greater prosperity here, particularly, initially, concentrating on India. He sets out his proposal so that members can discuss it for follow-up discussions by the Executive. It is hoped someone from the council will be able to report on existing regeneration plans. If you are in hospitality, international trade, have international contacts, have a product/service  you are seeking to have a bigger market for etc, then this is a meeting to attend.
