Celebrate International Women’s Day with the Newham Chamber of Commerce

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day (March 8) which is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

International Women’s Day (IWD) has been celebrated since 1911, and IWD belongs to all who care about gender equality.

Here at the Newham Chamber of Commerce (NCC) we are proud supporters and advocates of empowering women leaders and entrepreneurs, and to help understand and provide the skills, support, and connections needed to start-up, to survive and to grow.

The NCC’s Women in Business Network was launched in April 2025 and is more than just a social group; it’s a business-focussed community open to men and women where we all share experiences, learn from one another and grow together.
