Local businesses invited to connect with student talent at Here East Jobs Fair

23rd February, 12-3pm, Teesside University London, Press Office, Here East

Members of the Newham Chamber of Commerce are invited to take part in a major student jobs fair at Here East on Monday 23 February, 12:00–15:00, offering local employers a valuable opportunity to meet talented students seeking flexible, part-time and casual work.

Hosted at Here East in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the event brings together five universities based on the park:
UCL, Loughborough University London, Teesside University London, Staffordshire University London and LMA, for the largest collaborative student employment fair held at the site to date.

Building on the success of last year’s event, the fair is designed to connect businesses with a diverse pool of motivated local students looking to work alongside their studies. Employers will be able to promote part-time roles, casual opportunities, internships and volunteering positions, while engaging directly with students keen to contribute to local organisations.

The event is free for employers to attend and provides a straightforward way to meet emerging talent face-to-face, strengthen links with the local student community and support pathways into work. A light lunch will also be provided.

Businesses interested in attending are encouraged to register via a short online form, after which the organising team will be in touch with further details.

This is a timely opportunity for Newham businesses to access skilled, flexible staff and to build lasting connections with the next generation of local talent.

To sign up, please complete this short form and someone will be in touch soon!
